Antelope and Deer

These photos are mostly African Antelope with a few other four legged animals plus some North American deer, sheep and bison. If you really care, the most prominent difference between antelopes and deer is that male deer have antlers which they shed and grow every year while antelopes have horns that are permanent. Antelopes belong to family Bovidae while deer belong to family Cervidae. Antelopes are native to Africa and Eurasia and Deer are found in all continents except Antarctica and Australia.
